How to Use Google+ to Find Quality Prospects

This week’s webinar series is going to cover prospecting for your business using Google+. While the webinar is geared toward prospecting, I want to point out that Google+ will also contribute to the “reach” component of the 4R Marketing System in addition to being a powerful prospecting tool. This social media network has not been in the spotlight much of late because there are so many other sites demanding attention: Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and YouTube just to name a few. But this is not a site to be ignored for a few reasons. Most importantly, there are 2 billion searches on Google every day. This is the largest search engine on the planet and there are over 170 million registered users on their social media site so there’s a good chance your ideal customers are there as well.

As a small business owner myself, I don’t really have the capacity to take on yet another social media site and I’ll be totally honest with you all, I only just set up my Google+ business page last week. There are so many things to keep up with social media and marketing your business in general it’s almost impossible to actually do your business. It’s true, there’s a lot to keep track of and one of the things I help my clients do is be very efficient with their social media time. Schedule 10-15 minutes each morning to focus on your social media and then close it down until the next day. By focusing your time, you will get a big return on your time investment by growing your presence, your list and ultimately your paying customer base.
