Email marketing is so last century, do I really need to bother?

If you’re like me, you are eager to streamline and drop activities that don’t contribute to the business. If it’s not making me money or making my life easier, I don’t want to do it. But don’t make the mistake of cutting out your email marketing campaign. If it’s not making money for you then you’re not doing it right.

There is a right way and a not-so-right way to utilize your list of emails to promote your business. Email folks too much and they will get overwhelmed and just delete all your correspondence and will probably unsubscribe quickly. Email them too in-frequently and you’ll get lost in the shuffle of their inbox and your message will not be received.

But if you get it right, you can develop a list of loyal followers who will read what you send them and buy what you’re selling. This is still a very viable form of marketing and done right, in-expensive and incredibly effective.
